Packaging, Fullfillment and Delivery
Packaging
As a general rule of thumb, all products are packaged in paper or plastic mailers or cardboard boxes. Depending on local supply availability, packaging can be made of recycled, partially recycled, or virgin materials. Whenever needed, clear mailers, tissue paper, foam pouches, or bubble wrap are used to protect products from breaking or scratching.
The most commonly used packaging in facilities is a post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailer. If there’s more than one product, after putting each item in its own separate transparent polymer bag, they are then placed them all together in a PCR polymer mailer.
PCR plastics are made from items people recycle every day, like plastic bags and bottles. Most PCR plastics are made from shopping bags and wrapping films.
The amount of PCR in the packaging differs for each fulfillment location, but it’s at least 50% for the outside (white or grey) poly mailer bags and at least 30% for the inside (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments.
Fullfillment
After an order is made, the design goes through the fulfillment process, where the design has to be approved. This means that the design has to be in accordance with the rules. It also means that the design has to be simple enough to be printed. Most designs can be printed, however it can be difficult to use embroidery with a design that is very complicated, small or that contains a lot of colors. After the design has been approved, it’s time for delivery.
Delivery
The estimated delivery time (EDT) is our prediction for when your order will arrive. We calculate EDT using the following formula: estimated fulfillment time plus estimated shipping time equals estimated delivery time. On average, it takes us 2–5 business days to fulfill orders, regardless of the production method. When determining our estimated fulfillment time, we consider both our current order volume and our fulfillment capacity. Similarly, the estimated shipping time is based on historical shipping data for deliveries to your region.
Please note that the estimated delivery time is a prediction, not a guarantee. There are several reasons why an order might arrive later than its EDT, such as issues with print or embroidery files, products being out of stock, or shipping-related delays like failed delivery attempts, service disruptions, or severe weather conditions. Despite these potential challenges, we strive to meet our delivery estimates for every order.
